Meet Our Leadership Team
Audrey Ruland
Our Principal Architect and Founder, Audrey Ruland, graduated from UC Berkeley with a Master’s in Architecture. She is an award-winning architect, and she is one of the few people in California who specializes in the environmentally green straw bale construction. In fact, we have designed and built more straw bale projects than any other straw bale expert.
Your goals and vision are central to the design and architecture of your space. Audrey leads our team to work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs, vision, and goals. She brings in the best resources to help meet and create your vision. Through her unique perspective, she is able to create spaces that feel organic and intuitive for her clients. She has designed more than 200 projects.
Chris Dulnikowski
As a Principal at Ruland Design Group, Chris Dulnikowski is far from her roots as an engineer and program manager at defense companies. But then again, is she? If she can project manage design software and technology worth millions and millions of dollars, you know your projects will be in good hands with Chris and her team.
Chris is used to bureaucratic challenges, complex projects with many moving pieces, and keeping her clients informed throughout the process. Her innate ability to add valuable insights to your project and goals, make Chris someone you want on your team. And in case you’re wondering, Chris has her B.S. in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester, and her MBA from the University of Redlands.
